MG basses?

to be more specific, its has a:
(wenge burl mahogany body),
(neck through 5 piece maple bubinga wenge)
(ebony/wenge fingerboard) (24 jumbo frets)
(34' scale) (12" radius) (double action truss)
(bartolini soap pickups with matching cover)
(bartolini 3 band pickups) (finger ramp)

I used to live just down the street from MG in Manchester, and would walk by as they were working. They're sold basically right next door at Manchester Music Mill. I've played a few of them. They are quality instruments with I would say a unique feel. The ones I played had a lot of wood to the necks. I never played a 6 though.

I’m so confused - at NAMM this year I spent a lot of time at the MG booth. They were amazingly nice guys and the basses were gorgeous, well built and sounded great.

…. But… I’m pretty sure they were all Italian. So when IronLung1986 says he used to visit their shop in Manchester I googled the company and… it says US custom made basses…??? Italian, British, American….??

Makes no difference though, I was thoroughly impressed with their instruments and based on the prices I saw at NAMM $2500 sounds like a good deal.

He's Brazilian. My wife said hi to him a couple times as she is also from Brazil.
