MIA standard Jazz 1997 or 2008??

can anyone help me make up my mind - looking at 2 MIA standard jazz basses
a 1997 and 2008

no modifications on either
any big differences in bridges? pups? tuners? necks? - I'm lost in the history of specs

or should i just go on the colour
not much different price wise ...
