Double Bass mibass 220 bass amp head from ashdown

I am looking to play out on double soon, and I am finding my current bass rigs lacking, for the widely known reasons I have been reading about. I am looking at class D amps as doubler amps, and have not found any info with DB players using this amp. Probably not a coincidence, but It looks like maybe a poor man's potential amp. EQ looks more useful than my passive stack, and the Line in could accommodate a future preamp for my pickup. I am also looking at the EA micro. I have always liked them on paper. But, if I could save $300 that would help!

I STRONGLY recommend checking out the Gallien Krueger MB200 head. They are around $250 and are an outstanding value. I've owned quite a few amps, and this one has become my main gigging amp with the Double Bass.

+1 on the GK. There's nothing better in that price range.
