Mic TYPE

So I've seen several threads on here about what mics people prefer for bass (be it recording or live sound)... But I was curious as to what types of mics you prefer... Dynamic? Condenser? Why? Info on the strengths and weakness of each type is pretty easy to come by with a little research, but I just thought I'd see if you guys have any personal experiences to share on the subject...

I don't lump them into categories. I like a good mic and I don't care where it comes from. Dynamics, however, are generally easier to use onstage because they're usually more directional and less prone to pick up every single outside noise.

Dynamics tend to be more robust, so they´re my choice live. They also tend to handle high SPL better...

In the studio, whichever is best for given situation...
