Just watched this video of you with Wayne Krantz and Peter Erskine:



Really inspirational playing and love the tune! I'm having a bit of trouble with it though. I know the solos are all over a minor blues, but the melody has some changes in the bridge that I can't quite pick out. Do you or does anyone have a chart for this tune that they wouldn't mind sharing or could you or anyone give me some help with it? Thanks so much for the great music!

I could write out the changes for you, but you're going to get a lot more out of transcribing them yourself. Find out what the root notes are, then the melody notes, and then start to determine whether the harmony is minor, major, sus, diminished.... etc etc in between the root and the melody.

You'll find you'll have it down in no time once you train your ear that way.

thanks for the great advice, however, I've been working on this tune for a couple weeks now and my ear just isn't at the point where I can clearly hear the changes and transitions. I still have a lot of doubts about my transcription so if you could shed some light on it I feel I could get a lot out of having the changes/lead sheet and then relating it to what I hear as opposed to the other way around in this scenario (only because I can't really understand the harmony right now, I'm just starting theory). Thanks for all of the great advice so far.

well you don't need to know any theory to understand the harmony.... that's always my point. it's an ear thing, and not an theoretical thing.....

all of the chords in the second half of the tune are sus chords.... listen to the roots first, then the melody, then build the inner parts.
