Michael Henderson

If you´re into Michael Henderson, you need to check out the Cellar Door Sessions box. Electric Miles at his best, and Henderson grooves like there´s no tomorrow. Plus the bass is quite prominent in the mix unlike on lots of other Miles live recordings in the 70s.

On all the pictures I´ve seen from that era, Henderson is playing a Jazz bass, BTW. On one photo in the Cellar Doors booklet I can make out a P bass in the dimly lit background, but since there´s a double bass lying on the floor as well, the player seems to be Dave Holland. :)

+1, I got that album the summer I finished high school and one of my biggest regrets was that I had to work the night he opened for Ashford and Simpson in Atlanta.:(

Yeah I got to see him open for the Brothers Johnson when the Wide Reciever album hit. I loved his rock tunes like "Time" off of the album "Solid" and "Prove it" as before mentioned by some one. As for really haunting and beautiful bass there's "Indescreetly(yours truely)" off of "In the night time" there was another song called "Fickle" where he used some heavy effects but I can't remember the album.:hmm:

Que modelo de baixo é esse da Henderson?
