I personally have no interest in this bass, but seems be legitimately a great sounding instrument. I also think that the improvements in tone are real, but it will take a great player to truly make it shine.

I also think Moollon and you can get two for that price. You just have to wait 4 years.
I wouldn’t turn down trying the ML bass.
Because it's full of wormholes, will it transport your playing to a new Universe of awesomeness?
Headstock looks like a riff on the Carvin SB4000.

I think it has a unique sound…and look. I could (would?) never afford a $7K bass no matter how much I liked it. To each their own. I think I’d buy a couple three Roscoe’s before I bought one of anything.
How about I just try drinking some woodworm absinthe and maybe hallucinate that everything sounds like a million dollars?

Michael and Joe Dart must be having a good laugh about such having such expensive fugly basses as their signatures. I hope who ever buy them enjoys them.

Regardless of the visual aesthetics, how about some comparisons with other P-style basses at various price points and outfitting? And, no, I don't know how a P-bass "sounds". I have several and they all sound different so I'll need more convincing. And maybe being played by a more average player, like me. Not that I'm volunteering. I just don't need to hear a ripping virtuosic solo, rather some solid blues, funk, and R&R.

I did some work for a Guy in North Carolina who turned some Wormy Chestnut wood into a Gun Safe. It was truly breathtaking. I mean absolutely gorgeous.
The ML doesn't really blow me away but For a lot less $$ I would probably buy one. It does sound really good but I can't say if the Worm-wood is the reason.
At least it reminded me of the very nice Gentleman I had the pleasure of meeting in NC.

I think it looks awesome. Pick guard is a terrible shape, though.
