After 3 1/2 years of being on the market, I'm just learning of this clever bit of engineering now... The last thing in my effects chain is a 10-band EQ, but from what I'm reading it sounds as though people are using this more or less first - even before compression.

Sound off anyone? Thanks.

I found it makes the biggest difference at the beginning of my effects chain, but I would think it can depend on what pedals and instrument you have. So, my advice would be to trust your own ears and try for yourself with your own setup.
