I purchased a Microtubes Infinity with the hopes of making it the center of my ampless rig. I'm having a very hard time replicating the sound I get with my B3Kv2. It's in the ball park but it just feels much more sterile and less saturated when overdriven. I am also having a hard time getting an inspiring clean tone. Below is my setup with the B3Kv2 and with the Infinity.

Bass>Strobostomp>Diamond Bass Comp (OG)>B3Kv2>MXR Phase 90>MXR Micro Chorus>Mooer Reecho>DG element.

Bass>Strobostomp>Microtubes Infinity>Phase 90>MXR Micro Chorus>Mooer Reecho>DG element.

I tried the Diamond Comp into the Microtubes Infinity and got closer to what I want but not quite. The Infinity doesn't seem to love the compressor before it.

I really want to have clean, slightly overdriven, and classic DG aggressive drive sounds. I'm starting to think I have some weird genetic issue that just turns me off to digital processing like people who can't stand cilantro. Lol.

I'm going to play around with the compressor settings in the Infinity to see if that's the issue. There are modes that put the comp first in the chain so that both the clean and dirty are comped. Maybe that will help.

I also don't understand why they didn't put an fx loop in this pedal so I could get rid of the Element. I'm sure that now that I bought one that DG will come out with a V2 with an FX loop next week.

Since this was a used unit I had been working with the existing presets and tweaking from there. That was part of the issue. I reloaded the factory A,B, and C presets and tweaked those to my liking. I'm now 99% there and very happy with the results.
