Might need a Drop Tune Pedal

Because there is no Eb on the E string..Look I get it, use 2 basses, learn the parts a 1/2 down ect..I was just asking about the 2 pedals I mentioned
Huh? What I am saying is, if Eb is the lowest note you need, then you can play all your songs on the bass tuned half step down. Play the half step down songs as you already do, and just play all the songs you play in standard one fret up to still be in tune with the guitars.

I get it, just don't want to have 1 bass tuned standard and 1 tuned down 1/2 step..Saw a few videos on the Drop Tune and going down 1/2 step really didn't sound bad to me anything lower than that yeah it didn't sound very good...

It doesn't seem like you do get it, because I never suggested having two different basses tuned differently. But you do you man, if you want the pedal get the pedal.

You're right I misread what you were saying. I was just looking for a simple way to play in standard tuning and 1/2 step down..and was asking about the 2 pedals I mentioned in my first post to those who have experience with them...Thanks for the advice....

As a fairly new owner of a Quad Cortex , would you mind sharing your settings for 1/2 step down?
I put the detuner first.

Picked up a Digitech Drop and it works great for 1/2-1 step down, anything lower than that OK but not so great.. if anyone is interested in one check out Thomanmusic $131 plus $30 to ship to the states..
That's a decent price. also I have head from many guitar players, & they all have had the same issue, it's great for bass as we play single notes, it's not useable playing chords
