Mike Dirnt P - Stronger necks now or still bowing??

I'm pretty late to the party here but I currently have a 2001-2002ish Mike Dirnt MIM P in my garage that has a bow in the neck and a maxed out truss rod.
It served me well for quite some time, and was only ever set up by professionals.
All I know is that it has a bow and I am heartbroken.

It can be fixed, in all likelihood. The guy below, who also has a thriving Mom & Pop music store in a town with the largest college of music in North Amerca, UNT), has fixed several (more than 3) bowed guitar and bass necks for me, and all are still fine.

It's cheap, and I believe you can just send the neck. He uses heat treatment. Don't know where on the planet you reside, but this service is in Denton, TX, near Dallas. Not a shill, just a customer who returns.

I'm in New Zealand (where the hobbits live) so I imagine that by the time I paid for shipping and the currency conversion it would probably be cheaper just to get a new neck.
But I will definitely do some homework to see if this is something that can be fixed locally (my whole country is about a third the size of Texas by area, so locally is pretty much the whole country...)

I suggest you contact the warped neck people any way. Shipping just a neck and having if straightened would probably still be less than a new neck, unless you find a used one near you. Also, the "warped neck people," actually a guy named Eric, can probably tell you if it's fixable. Hope it all works out!
