Just played a gig with my Lull T-Bird and got endless compliments about the sound (well, and the look) but I couldn’t say enough good things about these amazing pickups! Any Lull JT (or PT) are monster basses. GLWTS!

Stunning! So tempted! If I didn't have a Lull NRT and other Lulls I would be all over this. Those pups are pure thunder. Love his builds!

Thanks for your question. It is definitely the smaller-than-vintage body size. The Lull website confirms this, "The JT4 and JT5 combine all the low end thunder of our T-bass with the familiar body shape of our ‘M’ series basses." IMHO, this is the perfect marriage of the familiar downsized J-bass ergonomics and those awesome pickups!

Good catch - I think you're right! It wouldn't make sense to have gold frets when all the other hardware is silver. I will check when I get home.
