I was SO excited about it till I read the other thread, then I was still excited but nervous and disappointed. I never cared if joe the speaker builder was a convicted rapist, because the speakers sound great! However, screwing over a large representation of the bass community is pretty had to ignore. If I had known "joe the rapist" (just an example folks) was building my speakers I might reconsider purchase, but the sound would have gotten me over it. I've always considered Lane to be very honest and helpful as well as a bit of a hippie flake type (I don't mean that as an insult btw). I've never met him that's just my impressions/experience. I would believe that he learned from all the Eden stuff and will bring that experience into DNA CS. I hope everybody gives him a chance, because I do believe he is a good guy. I just hope these amps aren't so boutique that I won't be able to get my hands on one till I'm 90!

I can only speak for myself on my experience(s) with Lane. I have known Lane for some years and he is always the same every time we talk, whether over the phone, through emails or just hanging out.He is very kind and always concerned, not just for his friends but every one he comes into contact with.

Lane is a very real and down to earth guy who is sincerely about helping those who he feel may need his help.

Understand that for a while Lane was under serious pressure from the higher ups. And knowing Lane the way that I do he really was trying to keep peace with every one. And that's not a bad thing but as we all know humans are just that, humans.

Lane has a long, very long history with David Nordschow and I couldn't think of a better person to be by Davids side as he brings his new amps to market.

+100! I'm not a personal friend or anything, just a customer, but my several dealings with him in private or in public were very positive, due to his understanding and integrity.

Hmm... that was not my experience. :hiding:

Nor mine. 5 years later my blood still boils at the sound of his name...

And at one point, I thought 'we' were friends.

yep, I've "known" Lane as well for a while now via the Eden boards and elsewhere and he's been nothing but a great guy to know and chat with.

as with all of us, there are those times where we don't 'measure up' to other's expectations or perceptions of us and/or our personalities just don't mesh with everyone.

There's that, being human, then there's out and out lying and covering one's own *** with complete and total bs, and changing posts and histories to mesh with the bs one is currently spewing, and trying to discredit customers... I'm NOT the only one...

Cheers,
Cameron
