Had a GREAT time in London. One of the things I will always remember is the Tube. "Mind the Gap"
The people in London seemed to be very fashionable dressers of course I was staying Kensington and I think that is a haunt for the young, rich and beautiful.
Popped into a random pub the very first night and had the best fish and chips I ever had. I also enjoyed hake, various pies, bangers, and shepherds pie.
I noticed Londoners don't like to make eye contact, and they also seemed annoyed that my wife and I were laughing at each other and having a good time on the tube. Some people were friendly and some seemed to be in a big hurry and didn't want to be bothered. Typical urban residents.
I loved the museums and the architecture. The Westminster Abbey and the amazing high rises in the financial district.
I have a lot more memories but I want to avoid the dreaded TLDR.
Thanks to everyone here for their advice on my trip. The chip card worked great and I someone met us at the airport holding up a sign with my name on it. That was a first for me. Thanks to Titus for that recommendation.
