Mini-size Phaser with Mix Knob

Hey there, I have a really specific request:

1. Mini pedal size (I swear, I can't fit another normal one on).
2. Needs a mix knob.

I don't mind if it's analog or digital. So far I only see one, the Mooer Liquid, which seems fairly good, actually. In a perfect world, my Phase 95 would have a mix knob and that would be that, but no.

Any help is appreciated.

I hadn't heard of this one. Good call. Also has a little reverb in there, which is a bonus. The Blend is for the reverb, but the depth seems to be an "effect level", which is fine for me.

*However, looks like all their pedals are discontinued. All of them.

One potential problem with putting a Wet/Dry Blend control on a phase shifter is that it becomes an Intensity control...practically by definition. I suspect this is why there are so few examples out there.

Yeah this is true, right? The phasing effect depends on the whole signal being effected, but in my old Terraform I found the mix very effective, particularly on bass.

Looking at the "regular" sized pedal market, though, there are a lot of mix or blend knobs, so I'm convinced it's not useless.

Good find on the Kokko. I’m always given pause by these brands that didn’t exist until yesterday, but it’s cheap enough not to try.

The depth knob is usually the same thing as a mix knob in a phaser. You mix the dry in with the phased signal to get less deep notches.

On the koko I suspect that depth actually controls the sweep range.

The Kokko sounds great. I haven't messed around with the settings lately, as it's a set-and-forget pedal for me, but I believe Bob and Nev are both correct regarding the Mix and Depth knobs.

Thanks all, I’ll see if I can get my hands on one of these. Kokko seems to be more MXR-y which is a good thing.

I found a Kokko for $45 and ordered. Will report.

Got the Kokko. It’s really not a bad phaser at all but the Mix knob isn’t a mix knob. It’s a feedback control. There is no actual way to blend in or out the effect in the way you expect.

If you use the depth knob ccw, you just get an always-phasing-but-not-sweeping sound that has nothing to do with what I’m after. It’s a shame.
