Hey All,

**UPDATE: I am no longer interested in trades, as I need to sell, in order to pay down cc bills.**

I just bought this bass last March, brand-new, from The Bass Place, and I've decided that I can't get used to the feel of 35" again, after going back to 34" (my other bass is now 34"). The tone of this one, flat, is bascially really close to Blind Melon's "No Rain" (link below), sounding like a classic Jazz Bass, but with more clarity, and can sound like one on steroids, with the 2-band eq. This thing is solid as a rock. I did a review (NBD...ESP E-II J-5 (Japanese)!), as it impressed the hell out of me. I started running it flat from my amp, with only a hair of boost on the treble and bass knobs on the bass itself. This was the first time that I'd ever not used any eq from my amp, and it kicked booty. Our soundman raved about how clear and prominent the sound was from the start, "Man, I can hear all of your notes...sounds awesome!" I now also do not use amp eq at this point with my other basses, either...simplicity is a beautiful thing.

The only blemishes on this bass, are one nick on the headstock's "volute" (where neck meets the headstock...looks like a little volute anyway....), and a ding on the tip of the headstock. The first was from my drummer's cymbal, and the other was from a tight space at an acoustic show...bumped it on a nearby wall. The nick on the volute doesn't affect playing, btw. These marks are very minor, as the rest of the bass is beautiful. Also, the bass in my stage pics, are what it currently has, knob-wise (aftermarket wooden ones).

Here are the specs:

Here are some links about the bass:

Again, my bass has a very similar tone to this tune.

I do NOT ship outside of the country, and Alaska and Hawaii will have additional shipping charges. I pack very well, and insure every bass. Thanks for looking!

great looking bass - in your other thread did you say it has graphite rods in the neck?

Yes, I wrote ESP customer service a while back, and they indeed told me that my E-II model has graphite reinforcement in the neck. Btw, I just ordered another E-II, different model that caters more to my tastes, so this one will probably be going back up for sale within the next week or two.
