MIPRO IEM

The G1 might sound a tad nicer than the PSM400 or the M3, but it really comes down to the ear buds and getting a custom fit ear mold for them. I'd hang on to the PSM400 and upgrade ear buds. Take a look at the Alien ear buds.
MiPro is not an answer nor a true competitor to the PSM400. I use the AT M2's and am happy with it for the most part, but once I upgraded to triple driver ear buds with the custom molds, my M2's sounded very good. I am assuming you are using stock earbuds that came with the PSM400?

We are using FutureSonics earbuds. The PSM400s cut out a lot (we use four transmitters and 6 receivers).
I also tried the "Hippo VBs" and they are a joke. I am toying with the idea of some Westone 2 way or 3 ways.
I will check into the Aliens, thanks, did you actually use the Mipro stuff?

3 people in my band use Westone UM2 and they work fine. We use the senn. G3 transmitter and all share 1 mix.
I have got the most basic IEM I could get in Australia just to try them out. The big difference was going to some UE triple fi10's and then having them remolded by 1964ears.com If i didn't already have the triplefi10's I would have gone for their quad drivers.
Custom molds are key to good bass as the seal is everything. However if your biggest issue is the units cutting out then sound quality is irrelevant.
I too have looked at the Mipro stuff and wondered how it compares. It gets a pretty good review at ineargear.com.

Uuhh. We use the MiPro. They do not cut out. I use futuresonic ear buds, others use westone and shure.

The only thing I don't like about them is that there low end freq range is 80Hz. So even with the best seal you don't get all the low end being sent. Fine for singer or guitar player but I wouldn't like it if it was my only monitor for bass.
Seal around the ear goes with out saying.

I use these right now they seem to bring the lows well enough. I still use a small rig for on stage which is DI and Mic'ed. We only play original tunes Link Removed backing stems work well
and our vocals.
I think the ear buds make a big difference, we rented G3 for a while
just couldn't get everyone to but them. Also we play very low volume, guitars used 18watt amps.
