Mixer, play along question (Rolls MX28)

Hey guys, so I want to buy this mixer so I can plug my bass in and play along with my iPod, but the left and right input things are split.
If I wanted to plug in my computer to it I would have to buy a 3.5 mm to a dual 1/4 in? And then to plug in my bass I would have to buy a guitar Y-cable ?

This isn't what you want. Almost all headphone practice devices (Korg Pandora, etc.) have a 3.5 mm input for external devices, and are built with impedance matching and preamplification. And you can probably get one for the same or cheaper than the Rolls.

The reason this is a bad choice is that the Rolls is a line level mixer and will have an impedance mismatch with your bass. It has no preamplification so you will probably get next to zero sound from your bass through it. Use the right equipment and save yourself the headache and wasted cash.
