Unfortunatelly, with Markbass you can choose whatever you want, but you always end up with 500Kohm input impedance. Even in their so called acoustic combos!
So far I did'n pay much attention to this, because with the Realist I'm using the sound through my Mini CMD 121P was always very good. However, last night at one of Prague jazzclubs I wasn't quite happy with my sound, so I tried to help it with my Fdeck little device. The difference was huge! It was so much better, I was really surprised.
So even with Realist I guess 500Kohm is not enough. I've heard somewhere that input impedance at around 2Mohm is sufficient for most pickups. This is what I would be expecting to see at "acoustic" amp.
