Modular rig recommendations

I've gotten back into playing after a 5 year hiatus. I received a new Acoustic B200 combo yesterday. It's buzzing badly, so I'm sending it back. I also realized this is heavier than I want to mess with.

I've decided on something more modular, maybe two 2x12 cabs with a simple-to-use amp (like the Hartke LH500). Any recommendations on light-weight, 2x12 cabinets? I've never used them before, nor any Neo cabs. I'm leaning towards the GK brand, or maybe Avatar.

I use passive basses. I don't need extreme volume neither. The biggest place I would play would be an 800-seat church with a good PA.

Thanks

If it has a good PA do you really need 2x12 cabinets or would a simple, light, 1x10 do it? A good head/cab or combo with a nice DI might do the trick and keep the weight down even further. I recently downsized my rig with similar concerns as you - weight. I kept my big rig for when there is no PA but my main amp now is a 25lb 1x10 combo with a DI that I use 90% of the time over the big rig and I couldn't be happier. Sorry I can't answer your question directly, just throwing out something else to consider.
