Modular synthesis

Any advice for someone just getting into it? Tutorials/books needed or just find some killer recordings and dig in? Any good shops in town selling quality units?

What recordings have you used your modular for? I'm super interested to hear your style on it.

I've used the modular for this song I did for Neon Trees in an upcoming movie, all over the M83 record, my own stuff, the new Moving Units EP that just came out, a few other bits.

Dunno if you'd recognize my style on it, I'm not that evolved yet. But I think I do cool/unique stuff with it.

Shops: Big City Music & Analog Haven....all good. No books that I know of, but plenty of web resources.

Lots of great beginner threads to read on Muffwiggler, for sure. GREAT forum.

Definitely looking forward to new m83. Stoked to hear you're perspective. Neon Trees track as well. Checked out and dug that new Moving Units EP, tones on chorus of Pink Redemption especially rad.
