Mohawks

I had one last summer. It was blue, and got to be about a foot long before i had to get rid of it for school. I'm getting another this summer. On the last day of school.
+1 a mohawk is so 80s! Darby Crash & The Germs, dude!About 25 years ago... couldn't even grow one now.
Damn, punk is OLD now.
It must be a bummer when your desired hairdo is from a time when you weren't yet born.
Mohawks look great -- I couldn't pull one off myself though :-/.

Been there, done that, loved it, will do it again. Mine was about 2.5 inches long and a little wider than the traditional punk mohawk I think. I shaved the sides with a razor every second day. It came about as the result of doing some hair modelling work that involved getting a blonde faux-hawk (before they became popular a couple years ago). It started to look lame when the colour grew out so I got a friend to cut it into a proper mohawk for me. I kept it for 3 or 4 months or so and then all of a sudden I started seeing other people with mohawks and faux-hawks around the place. Then I cut mine off.
I liked it. I kept it my natural colour. Some people hated it, some loved it. I think I'll end up doing it again once I'm sick of the long hair I currently have.
