I’d guess it to be a preamp, even though she’s playing through what appears to be some sort of standard combo amp anyway. There’s what looks like an XLR DI out just past the 1/4” plug with the yellow tape, the output line, and all the little knobs suggest EQ points.

She is very talented and technical and I am really into 70's fusion music and I play sitar myself a lot and studied Indian etc., but her playing just doesn't do it for me. For me personally it misses 'soul' and is too much focused on technique.
