ADDITIONAL PRICE DROP!! For sale or trade is my Moniker Zuma bass. I love this bass, but it hasn't been getting much playing time as I am primarily playing my Ric. I acquired this bass in trade last year and it has been living in it's case the majority of the time. The tone on this bass is incredible thanks to the TV Jones Thundertron pickups. Moniker is a company out of Austin Texas that custom builds instruments based on customer input. If you haven't heard of them check out their website, it's pretty awesome what they do, and they make killer instruments. If you were to custom order this bass today it would set you back well over $1,700.00.

I have attached a link to a YouTube video of this exact bass which was custom made for another Talkbass member. The video gives a great representation of the tone of the instrument as well as a good description of it's features. As Jordan says in the video the neck is simply the smoothest, nicest feeling neck I have ever played. It really is a good blend of the feel of a P bass with the nut width of a jazz. The bass balances incredibly well. The weight of the bass came in right about 10.2. This is a serious tone monster. The bass is in great condition. Minor worming on the back of the bass and a couple small dings, but nothing that affects playability. ***EDIT*** Upon recent inspection of the bass, some fret sprout has caused some cosmetic clear coat damage. None of the fret ends are sticking out, but the contraction of the neck wood has caused the finished area around the fret tangs at the end of the fingerboard to show up.***(See additional pictures below)

I am always fine with an outright sale, shipped FedEx Ground CONUS, PayPal preferred, but Id also be interested in trading for something else. I am fairly open to trades but have one primary requirement, it has to be four strings. I'd be interested in American Fenders, Jags, P's and Jazzes. I would like to give a Gibson Thunderbird another shot. Lakland Skylines are game. Ernie Ball Musicman basses of different types. I am fairly open, and the worst I can say is no so certainly feel free to run it by me in a PM.

Thanks for looking, shoot me any questions in the meantime.

These are very cool basses, a friend has one and it sounds great and works really well in a live mix.

Completely agree. Not too many know much about these guys which is a shame. They build killer instruments and they do sound great in a mix.

Back up, trade fell through. After taking the bass out for the first time in a while some fret sprout became apparent and has made some cosmetic damage to the clear coat. The playability is still fully intact. None of the fret ends are sticking out, but the contraction has caused some of the clear coat to appear as below.

I have included pictures here for additional disclosure. As a further result I am dropping the price down to $900.00 OBO. I'm still interested in trading so let me know what you have! Thanks!
