Mono M80, iGig G515 Comparison

I'm bringing this thread back from the dead! Hope nobody hates me for that. I'm trying to decide between the mono and igig double bass bags. Wondering two things:
1) Does the iGig neck pillow have a velcro strap like the mono does, to hold it in place? I assume the double bag has two of them.
2) Has anyone taken their iGig out in the rain much? The main selling point of the mono for me right now is that it's weatherproof. As a motorcyclist with a rainy season coming, this matters. I want the capacity of the iGig, but I'm not sure how water-resistant it is.

1) The iGig bags actually has two velco straps. One about mid-neck and the other around the 4th fret.
2) They can handle some rain but aren't really meant to stand up to the weather at length. Mine has gotten the brunt of a rain storm for at least five minutes and looks no more worse for wear and none of the pockets had any water in them.

I own the M80, G515 and the G515D doube gig bag. The G515D does have the velcro straps for both bass slots, but does not have the lower sleeve for the bridge. As for the weather tolerance, like what Kwesi said; the igig cases may not be as weather proof as the M80, but I too have been in those instances which only resulted to a wet exterior, while all compartments were completely dry from the inside.
With regards to mas502's question, I have travelled with the M80 and it sure as hell can withstand long flights, airports, gigs, you name it.
My honest preference; I use both brands equally. Whenever my gigs have backline provided, I take the M80 and whenever I am required to take my amp, along with pedals, I grab the G515. Yes there is a difference in weight, but I train in MMA and so the heaviness can sometimes be a plus for my type of back pain
The reason as to why I bought the M80 is because during my last trip in New York, I had picked up my Fodera but didnt want to fly back with the hardcase and so I was with my good friend Matt garrison at the time and asked him to get in touch with Miko, since he is endorsed with igig cases, regarding the G315, plus I was already an igig satisfied customer. Unfortunatly at that point in time, Miko ran out of stock with that particular model and so the only gig bag that was available for me to pickup was the mono case, which I bought from Guitar Center on Atlantic Ave. It was also raining on that day and so it was automatically put through the test But that's the story with regards to the Mono case purchase.
