I got a Vertigo a month or so ago, and have had no staining problems.Sorry to revive this thread,
MonoCreator, can you tell me if the problem of staining has been solved? If I order a Vertigo now, can I be confident my bass neck will not be stained?
Many thanks,
Thanks JakobT for your feedback. I'll order one then.
It works fine with my SR5HH.Warning...do not order the Vertigo if you have a 5-string! The headlock doesn't fit a 5-string!
Good for you. You're in the minority. It works fine with my SR5HH.

The reply was not snarky. An Ernie Ball has a narrow neck for a 5-string. Most high-end 5-strings have wider spacing. Doesn't work with my Sadowksy or Kinal basses. No need for the snarky reply. I'm just providing a data point for potential buyers based on my personal experience using this bag with a 5 string.

I'm not alone. This thing is going back. The only downside is that the neck support piece will accommodate a 4 string neck but is not wide enough for my 5 string. My 6 string neck won't fit in at all. It still holds the basses in place just fine when zipping it up. The result is that "bulge" FunkyMan has mentioned.
