Excellent Moog Sub Phatty with the optional Moog padded carry bag. This was my intro to the synth world and it is super cool. The sounds that this thing can make are extraordinary. Lots of demos out there to check out. It is also quite portable if you might gig with it (I did not) or if desk space is at a premium. An octave button allows access to the notes of a much larger keyboard. I've now steppped up to another Moog and this one is ready for its next adventure. One of the carry bag zipper pulls is partially snapped off, but the zipper works fine and the other pull can do the heavy lifting here. Manual, registration card, power cable and USB cable included. $635 shipped ConUS. PayPal okay.

Would you say for purely synth bass that the Phatty is enough? What did you go to? Sub 37? I'm thinking that but it may be overkill for my needs.

I would say so, I got it for synth bass and for me it did what I wanted and more. Yes I did go to the Sub 37, not because I needed it, but, GAS... It is definitely overkill for me. IMO you can't go wrong with either, but if you only need synth bass, then the Phatty will do it.
