My needs have shifted (I need a second J-type bass), so I'm putting this one up for sale. Original owner. I have really not played this bass very much at all and so it is very mint, with a few exceptions you will see in the photos. I put Dunlop buttons on, but will supply the original ones, too. Strung with Dunlop flatwounds 40-100.
Comes with Moollon hard shell case. Under the pickguard, I paid YJ for the hemispherical rout so you can adjust the truss rod with a tool instead of taking the neck off. You're welcome. YJ also sanded the neck to be a nice matte. Nicely rounded edges at the fingerboard. A real beaut, and practically new.
I have two Moollon Ps and soundwise, this one sounds a touch fatter and a bit "older", (whatever that means) than my ebony necked one. I bought it to sit there with flatwounds on forever so I didn't have to keep swapping, but I'm just not reaching for it like I thought I would.
