Wondering how to play Morning. I was given the sheet from the Realbook and told to play the lower treble part. OK, but I’m was wondering how others play it?

Your question is very broad. Can you be more specific about what you want to know? Are you talking about bass lines, rhythmic figures, what?

I've played this tune many times and it's kind of a Latin Jazz "Standard" !

As bass player this might mean playing it kind of like a bossa nova - but I have also heard it done with an Afro Cuban rhythmic feel - so, Piano Montuno and bass plays the standard kind of Salsa "Tumbao", where you anticipate the chord changes on the 'and of 4' in the previous bar.

In the band I played a lot with - the singer and the horn players wanted this in different keys - so we modulated between solos and the head!! ;)
