Morris Telecaster bass

Just found this one in a second hand store in Sweden.
A Japan bass from the 70th I suppose.
Do anyone know anything about it?
I only payed $30.

It´s a short scale bass with old vintage polished strings.
I think I´ll keep them.

Japanese company as best I can tell. I had a Morris les paul a few years ago, pretty nice for what it was. Ended up trading it for a bass a few years after I got it. I tried researching the brand but only came up with acoustic guitars.
