Most balanced tone 5 string flat set?

Hi everyone, what flat string set for 5 string bass has the most balanced tone string to string? I like a Motown sound, so I’ve got a set of labella FL-B on the way, but looking at the gauges, it seems the low B would be more balanced with the FX set than the FL, but they don’t sell the FX-B set anymore. I wrote them and they suggested the FL-B, so I ordered, but I still have reservations. I know the FL set gets a lot of love (and I’ve used it before on a 4 string, so I know), but not many comments on how the low B works with the rest— or not very many positive ones anyways.

How is the tonal balance between the low B and the other 4 strings with GHS Precision flats compared to the labella?

Again, looking for something more old school sounding: Motown-ish.

Ps: this will be on a 5 string P bass.

Thank you.

i am wishing Sadowsky re-announce Black label flat with tapered B.

Opps. You need old school vibe, Sadowsky Blue label flat with tapered B fit the bill once broken in.

i am using the FL-B set and i feel the tapered B works very well if you make sure to install it without any twists and depress the string just after the saddle after the intonation is set, and depress both sides of the nut. may have to do this a few times over a couple of days. originally got the single B that has dark blue silk related to the FM set, and it did not have the same clarity as the FL-B despite being the same diameter.
have used the GHS set as well and the B is very good. clearer than the Labella but darker maybe. it was the custom medium set with the B and was balanced. Labella's are smoother though..
