Most Compact LPF+HPF? I Just Got a Pedal From dpFX

I was looking for a really compacy, and always-on, LPF+HPF pedal, and couldn't find any. However, dpFX could make one for me, and yesterday I got it in the mail!

I really think this is quite unique in the market. Does anyone know about anything else like it?

Excited to find a good spot for it under by board! Will report back when I do.

The most compact I've seen is the Fdeck. But that's only the HPF side. This is pretty cool. Would be interested to try one.

In the second picture the black screwy part is for power.

Depending on your board, you might could turn that sideways and mount it under the board.

Nice. I don't use a LPF but for HPF the Broughton always on is only 1.2" wide if you mount it such that the jacks & controls are on the face.

The manual said that the slope was quite steep, I believe.

The plan is to have it sideways under the board!

I've seen this filter posted on dpFX's instagram and now I see it here There they mention the slope for both filters is 12dB/octave.

I have a Sansamp, and a DI each with HPF/LPF built into them.

That Broughton Resonant Filter, while , standard size, gives you 3 in 1. hpf (w/resonant peak,eh) , lpf (w/ resonant peak!!), and the awesome mid with freq select.

Fair point — but that "forces" you to use those specific products. Having it separate is more flexible in that sense.

(I used to have HPF integrated like that, when I used a Noble. Got this when I switched off that. )

More than that, it forces you to use the cutoff freqs. that they decide for you.

It's like saying the most compact FX are the ones in multi-fx pedals. Technically correct, but more of a "one size fits most" approach
