Another On Bites The Dust is the one I'd say the populous all know, particularly now with its inclusion at so many sporting events.
Also, and showing that I grew up in the UK, but the bass riff in the middle of The Chain from Fleetwood Mac would also be pretty memorable for most folks in the UK, where it featured in the F1 TV presentation for years. No longer living there I can't say whether or not it still does, but it certainly was one of the first lines I learned.

Larry Graham on Sly and the Family Stone's "Thank You Forlettinme be Mice Elf Agin." I know I misspelled it, but that thumped and plucked octave riff changed the bass forever.
I feel like just about anyone anywhere knows Come Together when they hear that bass line. probably the most recognizable, but for me the most memorable would be Roundabout - YES

I know tons of basslines which are better than these in every way (i am really into all kinds of metal, too) but these I find most memorable.

yo cheese,.. you almost got it right!!! but,... that bass line from "if u want me to stay" is just BRILLIANT. everytime i hear it,... i just,....! aaaaah!!!!
