Moving to Raleigh/Durham/Triangle Area in NC...looking for gigs!

I am a 24 year old (soon to be 25) bass player who has been playing for 12 years. I am looking for gigs in the Raleigh/Durham/Triangle area of North Carolina because my family and I are moving so my wife can work at Duke (alright!!! Way better than Alabama!). I play everything from rock, funk, country, worship, indie, and progressive jazz/fusion...you name it outside of rap.

I am looking for some solid gigs either at churches or gigging in the bar/local scene. I have always used bass playing as my side gig to make some money, push myself musically, and have some fun. I have a relatively diverse studio discography as I lived in Nashville for some time doing studio bass and engineering. I've played with Caedmon's Call people, Silars Bald, Josh Byrd, Moses Mayfield, 56Henry, Jessica Heine and the Clevelands, Chad Robison and the Gentlemen, Nate Harbin, Kristian Stanfill, and many more. I currently play at Redstone Church here in Birmingham...but I've played bass for almost every large church in Bham including: The Church at Brookhills, Valleydale Church, Brookwood Baptist, Dawson Memorial Baptist, Shades Mountain Baptist, Mountainbrook Community Church, Briarwood Presbyterian, and Samford University. I also played at UCF (University Christian Fellowship) for over 2 years.

Just let me know if anyone has any NC gigs that need a bassist or if some NC bassists need a fill in for when they have too many gigs lined up (too many gigs lined up??? sounds like a good thing!). I'm also willing to push for studio work if anyone knows some good studios to shop to. PM me or email me at [email protected]. Thanks!
