I'm selling a USA MTD 635-24 and the 635 is rare because it's only one of two that has a glossed ebony board which Michael charges 1000 up charge to gloss the board. The Specs is Redwood Burl top, mahogany body, maple neck, and glossed ebony board. There is a blemish on the headstock, but other than that nothing noticeable. $3600 {}
I'll vouch for the Beast! I own a Euro/Czech MTD Beast 4 string w/factory Barts and added Nordstrand 2-band pre. These are amazing basses. The previous owner keeps messaging me if I'm ready to part with it. "Never" I tell him, lol. These are the closest thing to a true USA MTD and it's the BEST Jazz-type bass I've owned. (I've owned quite a few). So just a heads up, don't pass this Beast off as a cheaply Asian-built MTD, it's not! You'll be extremely happy with it I'm sure. The playability and tone are 2nd to only a few GLWTS TimTyler! (If I had the dough, I'd make you an offer w/o hesitation, )
