NOS Showroom MINT 635. This bass is an absolute showpiece in every possible way but I've come to the realization that I will just never use it. I hand picked all of the woods at Mike's shop back when I was an MTD dealer. I've played a lot of good basses -- This one is special. My feedback here will attest to the fact that I'm very conservative about how I rate a bass. When I call something 'mint', it's at least that. This one is factory mint -- I estimate that it has less than two hours of play time on it. I'm trying to consolidate down to all 34" scale basses. I'd like to trade for a similar quality 34" six. Super nice bass you have there. Someone will get to enjoy one of Mike's nicest builds. Good luck with your quest for a 34" scale 6.
Thanks man. I played it last night in anticipation of packing it up... Really cold feet. It's easily one of the top three MTD's I've played -- and I've had a lot of these come through my hands. I may just leave this open but be super picky. Looking for the perfect Smith 6 if it's out there...
Awesome bass Joel! I'm sure this bass is great if it's in your top tier with all the basses you've played!
