Mudbucker and a Darkstar

I have a Darkstar pup at home I got from Novak, a 12k version and looking to put it in a EB0 bass.
Planning on converting it to a EB3 with a Darkstar in the bridge position in the future.
But am curious is anyone thinks a mudbucker, either a dimarzio or one from novak, and a darkstar would work together?
Guessing it would offer a wide range of tone.
Any thoughts?

If you already have a Novak DarkStar (very cool) and are considering a Novak mudbucker to pair it with, then I would ask Mr. Novak about it. I'm quite sure he could wind the mudbucker as to be complementary to the DarkStar (very cool).

The standard Gibson-style mudbucker will overpower your DarkStar (very cool) due to the huge impedance mismatch. The DiMarzio, however, isn't anything like a standard mud bucker (except in form factor), and should therefore match much better with your Novak DarkStar (very cool).

I learned all of the above on TB, so I'm just regurgitating it here. Someone with actual knowledge should be able to confirm/refute..... ;)
