Hey, guys!
A question: does it make sense to buy a second hand Game Changer Bass today? Don't rush to answer. Let's think:
- We know, that the Game Changer Web Site (application) is down, so it is (as far as I researched) not possible to create your custom pick up options. Let's say we just stick to those 5 options as they comes from the factory, which I believe is somewhat standard for all the music man basses.
- The bass has a decent, even premium wood used. It is made in United States. Has both Active and Passive modes.
- The price is between $1200 and $1500 on the second hand market if it pops up and the year is ~2012
Hence: is it possible to find a good music man made in USA second hand for 1.5k$? I saw only Japanese options for that price tag. Screw that pickup story, doesn't 1.5$ looks like a good price for a decent second hand music man USA built bass as it is by default?
I know everyone hated this bass for the fact it was priced ~4-5K originally, giving you all those non needed options via the doubtful site. However, nowadays, what could be the issues?
P.S. were music man basses of 2012 had those infamous issues with neck still?
