I love mine too....for the most part. Just don’t love the tone, but love everything else about it. Played a Caprice the other day and that’s my new dream bass

I think both models sound great. I would have a hard time saying which one I like better, because they both sound really good. Are you able to describe what you like better about the Caprice?
    Check out this Sterling tone:

I’m just more of a passive tone kinda guy. And I prefer the simple controls. But I do really like the Sterling. If I could convince my wife I need 2 $1400 + guitars I would keep it lol

I get ya. Especially not knowing what else is in your stable of basses. I have passive covered with a Gibson EB, but I think I might just build a Warmoth P sometime just to have one. But I want a very specific kind haha. Never played the Caprice, but I bet it's fantastic. GLWTS.

Never thought I'd be considering copping licks off of a 13 year old .......

Yeah, and you should see him playing in person. That video is the tip of the iceberg. Just amazing! Super nice kid too. He is definitely going places!!

How much I wish for sterlings to be in Israel, we only have Stingrays. I'd really like to try one someday
