Few months back I got myself a stingray 5hh. I'm loving it. It's powerful and doesn't sit but kicks through the mix. Just a few questions. What pickup switch position and what eq do I adjust to get the old subtle p bass sound. I need that tone for just a song or two.

I'd personally opt for the front neck pickup (switch all the way towards the neck) treble flat or dialed down a smidge, mids boosted, probably bass flat. If you want it more thumpy and less trebly, just knock down the treble and booast the bass a little. Make sure the mids define the note...if you see what I mean.
