Has anyone done or know of anyone had done this before? Results? Opinions?

  2. You'd lose some low end, but other than that tial it in right and it should be fine.

    It's killer.

Surprising nobody has responded to this thread.

I went through 3 pedals in a row last practice. My 2nd Digitech has finally crapped out. It's been getting more and more rumbly floor noise, to the point of being totally unusable.

Went back to my old RAT. Didn't like the mushy attack or lack of gain. Finally went back to the M-80, which I still use for the clean channel/DI. Never was a good distortion, still isn't.

    Finally tried my guitarists' pedal.

The DIME is killer for mid-forward gritty ripping distortion. It doesn't go into all out fuzz. The EQ knobs are kind of interactive with each other, like on an amp. Extreme EQ settings don't accomplish much. Set maximum gain, scoop OFF, bass flat, a bit of mid and a bit more treble boost. Do the rest on your amp. It rips.

I've been wondering for years how this pedal sounded on bass and thanks to this clip I got a chance to hear it. it's actually not too bad. it's got a killer grind to it. add a blend control and you get a killer grinding distortion for bass. \m/ thanks for posting the video.
