IMHO there are worst bands making their kind of money but when you record with the likes of Billy Gibbons and the LATE GREAT DIMEBAG, your credibility goes beyond Fallout Boy, Green Day, Limp Bisket and the other fad bands.

Dude all you haters know Nickelback lyrics. So jokes on you. I'm not a fan of them by any means, nor do I like The Beatles. But they do what GREAT musicians do, write songs that people like. They swallow their foolish pride, stick to the basics, simple chord structures and singable lyrics.

Not really a fan of Nickelback but who cares. I would trade places with them in a heart beat and so would most of the haters. No they might not have sold as many albums as the Beatles but they have still sold a ton and toured to packed houses for a number of years now. Rough life. Of course someone will make a comment about playing music that has integrity but they will also probably have a day. And not necessarily at Burger King.

Nope, I don't know the lyrics. ("Hater" is such a silly, drama-queen term.) And you'll never convince me that that is what all, or even most, great musicians do. By that cockamamie standard, Nickelback's composed of great musicians, while Frank Zappa wasn't one.

I was never a fan of Nickelback, but their latest album did impress me. Myself, I look at the little things they do that add musicalness to the songs. Listen to the basslines sometimes. Nothing overly special, but he's doing what he's supposed to be doing for the music.

The overall sound I typically do not enjoy. "How You Remind Me" is a song I absolutely hate. But on their latest album, I enjoyed a few songs. There's "worse" bands.

You are such a hater that you hate on the word hater I never said Zappa was not a great musician. And I would consider Zappa rockstar, even though he does not play conventional music.

Let me ask you this, is it not a talent in its self to play/write popular music, whether you like it our not? Hey man I listen to metal and jazz two less popular genres, but I'm not gonna say Nickelback sucks because I'm not a fan.

Not that he plays the most not or is a Jaco type player but I have liked the tones I have heard. Punchy and growling
