How does the Cort compare to the Peavey? That Peavey was once part of their flagship line of high-end quality production basses. They went for a grand (maybe a little more or less) back in the 80s and early 90s. Now you can score them on the cheap on eBay. Great quality stuff made in the US. BUT, how is that low B and what's up with the string spacing?
As for the Cort, we all know its an import and likely pretty inexpensive despite its nice features. However its design is more current and likely to have more favorable playability and low B tone despite costing far less than what that Peavey cost when it was made.
So, having A/B tested these basses, what are either's pros and cons?
