hey everyone, so my band finally got some recordings, albeit bad ones, and i would like to hear anything constructive you all have to say about the songs themselves (not the recording quality, which is horrible, and for some reason my guitarist decided to double track the vox for the third song, which also came out unfinished b/c we had a very limited amount of time) so in short we kinda got shafted recordingwise but everyone has to start somewhere right?

not bad the song eclipse kinda drags after a while but I can tell you guys have your **** together and are talented musicians.

overall, it's decent. i don't know if it's just the quality of the recordings or what, but that singer sounds.... unimpressive. it seems like he's just phoning it in, he's missing a lot of notes, and he's leaving big chunks of the song empty, when he should be singing. the music itself is pretty slick, but that singer kills it for me.

yeah the vocals are definitely the worst part of the sound, but we're working on it and its gotten a lot better since then, and obviously when we get a chance to actually get into studio and have a decent amount of time to track vocals they'll be a lot better
