I just wanna share what basses I've got and what I wanna get in the future and why.
To start I've got this beaut...
An American vintage 1962 reissue fender jazz bass
Love this bass currently got roundwounds on it as I use this as my main gigging bass at this time but when I get a few more ill eventually stick a set of flats on it. This is my dream bass and as soon as I get the others this is immediately retiring.
Then I've got my acoustic...
Ill be honest I don't know too much about it. It's got a bowl back and is active. Gunna change the strings on it as there to thick of a gauge and to high an action for my liking.
They are the basses I have now these are the future ones I want to get
Next I want to aquire...
A fender american deluxe jazz bass v. This would probably be my main bass alltho I don't know if I'm liking the electronics on this. I may swap them out and put a standard 5 string system in.
Then...
This is a original 1960s p bass.
I don't nessecerily want an original or even a reissue for that but I dig the 3 tone sunburst so I might even get a American standard and get it refinished which would probally be the cheaper option. I'd stick a set of flats on this and go pino style.
This next one is a little different...
As u can see this is a Hendrix Monterey strat. As a project I'm gunna by a cheap diy jb kit and make it up to look like this. I don't know if anyone has done it before as a bass but damn! It looks good
I don't really know if I want this bass or not but ill share it anyway...
Whoever designed that and put it together is a genius. It looks so shaging beautiful.
