No problem. I seem to have made one mistake though. The switchcraft switch should have this wiring. IDK why i just clicked now.
This is how the switch should be wired. That's possibly why you have a popping sound when you flick the switch.

This is how the switch should be wired. That's possibly why you have a popping sound when you flick the switch.
Well if ever you decide you're getting fed up with the popping sound, you can always revisit with a few de-solders & resolders at the right places. Til then, enjoy the new wiring!

My 'Bird started life as a Pro IV somewhere in Florida. I think it was a factory second, but I'm yet to find issues other than a couple chips in the finish that the original owner may have put there. I did the strap button relocate to the heel of the neck, but beyond that, it now has Lace Alumatone pickups, no preamp, and the neck is fretless, with walnut inlays where the frets were. It doesn't look a whole lot different from any other 'Bird, aside from being fretless. It sounds good and different.
Cool! I have a Pete Wentz Squier P that would look cool with those, I think I'll get a set.
