Yes you are weird. Just as weird as I am, I guess
Somewhere in the early 70ties I bought a brand new Fender Jazz Bass and it just didnt work out for me so I sold it after some time and never had any regrets about it.
Earlier on this year I decided to pick up bass playing again and bought a second hand Squier Affinity J-bass. I figured that I could always buy myself a more expensive bass later on and keep the Squier for backup.
I liked the Squier so much however that I decided to upgrade it and now its the best bass Ive ever played.
Ok, for all the money I spend on the Squier, I could have bought a Fender as well, but then I just would have had a Fender and now I have a bass that sounds, feels and looks just the way I want it
