First off…I hope this is in the right place. If it isn’t please remove. I’m still learning and trying to navigate the site.
The long and short of what I’m doing is trying my hand at a custom build less the neck. I have extensive experience in woodworking. The bodywork, routing and paint on a small scale test run was fine enough for me to plan ahead for the electronics.
That’s where I run into trouble and could sure use some guidance. I was hoping I could maybe layout the pickups and vol/tone, & switching setup I was thinking and some of you seasoned veterans could tell me if it would A.) work B.) recommend something better as far as layout C.) recommend better components
the body will have the following setup:
Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder(or alternatively Hot PBass) in neck position
Seymour Duncan NYC-B in the bridge position
One volume
One Tone
One 3-way selector switch
I just really don’t know where to source wiring diagrams and this is my first adventure into this type of thing. I do really apologize if this type of thing has been asked over and over again.
