My modded attitude basses

I stripped my limited edition attitude basses down to 1 pickup and 1 volume knob. The p pickup feeds both outputs and the pickgaurds have been replaced with white pearloid. The tone does not suffer when both outputs are used. Let me know what you guys think.

I don't ever really run stereo anymore and when I do, I really prefer to just use the p pickup. The woofer is nice for at home but it just doesn't cut it for me live. It also gets in the way in the rare instance that I want to slap. For me, simpler is always better. I think that the white perloid looks killer with these basses. I have talked to stambaugh about building me a custom version sometime and it would be pretty close to these.

Fair enough! I had heard about the slap issue actually... I'm GAS'n after one of those surf green ones holy father Sheehan uses

Thanks for the compliments guys but actually, my luthier friend did it for me. He used to live out in LA and has done work for some really big name players. He still does out of his home shop here in upstate NY. He mostly does custom inlay work now but sometimes I can get him to squeeze in some of my pet projects. I am really loving this mod and the basses look very cool in person.

Well, there still not p basses. They play and sound much better. Anyone who owns one can attest to that. Also, I didn't switch necks. Thats the way they come. And yes, they do look cool as F#@k!!!

Thanks Ray! I appreciate that. I don't really care about looks but, they are really flashy looking. I have been playing these for a long time and I love them even more without the woofer.

For now, the old pickgaurds and pair of model 1's are going in a box for a later date or project. Without the white covers one is green and the other is white. Pretty punk looking.
