my new Custom Shop lefty 57' P-Bass

just got this baby after 3 month waiting time. It was custom ordered through a Custom Shop dealer in germany.

57' P-bass, light and resonant ash body, 1 piece maple neck, White Blonde in Closet Classic, aged mint pickguard

The sound is just phat ! I love it

Beautiful! You sir, have great taste! I have a '57 reissue Strat in that same color combo. Originally had a white pickguard, but I replaced it with a mint green.

Sorry for putting a Strat in a bass forum, but because of the color combination, I guess it's appropriate!

Yeah, and it has a much higher pitch than my other ones. Of course, a lot of 6-string bass players would disagree with your premise!

It's actually a very sweet, limited edition Strat that G.C. was selling a few years ago. The list price on them was $2,385.00 if I recall correctly. (I still have the ad somewhere.) Anyway, I got it for $999.00. I'm not much of a guitar player, but I couldn't pass it up. My two guitar-playing adult sons have sure enjoyed it though!
